Vintage Anthro Billy Goat Professor Teacher Bobblehead China Figurine Doll Made in Japan

This vintage billy goat bobblehead is the wise teacher, the professor, or perhaps the master of the boys' school. He is ready for class to begin, with his walking stick hanging from his right arm, and a green text book tucked under his left. He's dressed in his most comfortable blue slacks, topped with a nicely cut black jacket and red bow tie. He wears his reading glasses perched on the very end of his nose, and his gold-colored horns are curled back over his head. His eyes are closed, perhaps as he utters a silent prayer before the beginning of class!

This bobblehead figurine is made of a glaze china. He stands approximately 5" tall and is 3-1/2" wide. He is in pristine condition with no chips, cracks or flea bites. He does have the general overall crazing that is common in vintage glazed pieces. There is a small depression on the corner of the square platform on which the professor stands, but it is under the glaze and appears to have occurred during the manufacturing process. The bottom of the figurine is marked with a blue-green "JAPAN."
