Vintage United Methodist Church Centennial Celebration Plate Jamestown Kansas 1872 - 1972

This vintage collector's plate commemorates the 1972 centennial anniversary of the United Methodist Church in Jamestown, Kansas. 

The plate was created by the World Wide Art Studios in Covington, Tennessee. The plate is a creamy color with a shiny glaze. The center of plate features a drawing of the church building in blue. Under the picture of the church building it reads:

Jamestown, Kansas
1872 - 1972

The wording is done in an ornate gothic font.

On the back of the plate is a short history of the church, along with a list of the founders and supporters of the church at its founding back in 1872. 

The plate measures about 9-1/4" in diameter. The rim has a lovely fluted design that is highlighted with gilt gold trim. The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or flea bites.
