This is an old rifle I think is a model 12a Remington. ;22 inch barrel, 1 mag. Band. ;Shoots shorts long and long rifle ammo. Good working condition.  Finish show wear, but wood looks very good.   EXCEPT. towards the butt plate in tiny letters, some previous owner engraved the wood with under here.   Under butt plate was old hunting license, from 1940s I think.  Still a good shooter and nice little take down rifle.  $350.00 or best reasonable offer.   Thanks.  lawdog
