Description

**For many more pictures please visit my website apex-autosales.com** To start, there is NO TITLE with this car, it is a race car only. It will be sold with a bill of sale. It DOES still have the VIN tag on the dash and under the hood. It is a blown big block with a glide and 4.10:1 gears. Now for the specifics: Engine is a 396 .060 over. Internals: GM forged nitrided crank, Scat 4340 rods, Icon forged pistons, file fit plasma moly rings, Clevite bearings, Cometic head gaskets, Melling high volume oil pump, gear drive timing set, bandit oil pan, ARP studded mains, ARP head bolts, B&M 420 Megablower (teflon strips just replaced, not raced since), 52 tooth top pulley, 63 bottom, 8:1 compression, twin Holley carbs 750 I believe, solid roller cam unknown specs (I do have valve lash numbers and it was just checked), Hooker headers, Holley fuel pump, deep cycle battery, Tru-Kool radiator, MSD distributer (locked out), MSD 6AL, MSD boost timing master, MSD 2 step, MSD RPM activated switch for shifter, line lock, transbrake, 2 speed powerglide with TCI shield, converter stalls at 5200, drive shaft loop. The rear end is all Moser components 33 spline forged Axles, C-clip eliminators, full spool, diff cover/support, Richmond 4.10:1 gears. It also has a Hurst quarter stick, 5 gallon fuel cell, new about a year ago 5 point R.J.S. drivers harness, new rear wheel cylinders, all brake hoses front and rear replaced with new, all new 1/2" X 3" wheel studs at all 4 corners with all new open lug nuts, new Weld Racing Draglites 15" X 10" rear, 15" X 4" front, Mickey Thompson 28 X 11.5 E.T. Drag rear, new 25 X 4.5 E.T. front drag, Competition Engineering rear shocks, Lakewood front shocks. I have been running VP C-16 race fuel in it since I have had it. It was making just over 10 lbs of boost at 6500 RPM with the current pulleys before I had the blower re-stripped at Gary Roushkolb Superchargers in Wichita. Now it makes that same 10 lbs at a much lower RPM. I think it will need to go back to the 1:1 pulleys to keep it safe, which is what was on it when I got it. I ran a 10.90 at SRCA in Great Bend with it before the re-strip. The previous owner says he ran 9.60 at 140 mph at Pinks all out in Topeka in 2010. I have not had time to take it back to the strip since I put the blower back on, but it changed the way it sounds and idles. It is smoother, idles better, and is more responsive. Its not a show car, but looks pretty good from 10 foot away.  It is built for speed, and some one will have a blast with it as I have. I am only selling it because I have no time to race it any more. I can be reached during the day at 620-582-2740 and evenings and weekends at 620-635-5791. This is not an dealer inventoried car, it is my personal race car. Will be sold individually, not through the dealership, and with bill of sale, no title. I am open to trades, kind of looking for a RZR.
