Description

Groundwater Development Company

We do not drill dry holes.

A local, family owned water well drilling company, dedicated to helping landowners find, develop and use their natural groundwater resources. 20 + years experiance in traditional water witching or dowsing. I have developed these skills over many years of helping drillers, landowners, city and county government find what they need to find. We find the water veins, sewer lines, water lines, electric lines, phone lines, and pollution problems in wells. We have followed pollution sources and drilled avoiding the source of contamination and produced a clean water well.  We have helped many drillers and landowners find why they missed a vein or why it was a dry hole. In many cases we see water wells old and new that just are not in the center of the vein of water.  We have extensive knowledge and tools used in underground and above ground electromagnetic field imaging. We find and follow the water veins and show you what you have to develope for no charge. Just e mail us the leagle description to (groundwaterdevco@gmail.com) and we will locate all possible veins and pools of water on the property and near the property.

Locating and Mapping of Underground Water ( free)

Test hole and water GPM Test ( Up to 100 feet) $800.00. This is an uncased test hole that is drilled and gallon per minute tested. If we locate it it will always make water but there are many reasons why zones will not give up enough water for your needs. Tight gravel, sugar sand, no underground pressure is a few reasons. I have seen 20 foot of sand not give up more than 5 gallon a minute. Having the test hole first drilled to check this is a must.

If the test hole proves to be adequate water quantity needed, the test hole fee will not be charged and then the following will apply.

Water Well Drilling $2,500.00 minimum for the first 50 foot and $30/ foot after that.

These small powerful rigs can get into any location. Capable of drilling up to 300 Feet deep. This rig and our years of experiance finding, following and marking the center of the vein will save you the expence of a dry hole miss or a well that will not provide enough water. Most shallow water veins (Under 150 foot) are only 5 feet to 20 feet wide but there is also the Dakota aquifer below in some areas. You must always do the reaserch first on a Dakota well prior to having one drilled to see if your area is in a good area. The Dakota is not useable in many areas and changing in some areas. We know where not to drill one.

We bore a 4 inch hole first to look at the width of gravel or sand layer and if it looks good we bore it out and then do a gallon per minute test prior to casing installation. We then meet with the owner and they can decide what they would like to do.Solar wells do not need much water and windmills need a little more water and sprinkler systems on a yard need 5 to 10 gpm or more.

Proper Well Development. This is the most important part on a small producing zone.
