For sale:  1963 Corvair Monza 900 coupe. She is 98% complete with the trim pieces, bumpers and misc. parts stored inside. The engine and 4 speed transmission are intact but the car has not been started for about 20 years. The engine is NOT siezed and will turn over by hand. The car is not a Spyder despite the fact it has a Spyder dash panel and glove box door. There are no front seats for this car and the drivers door window is not installed. The car has surface rust with rust thru on the front headlight panel and drivers floor board. The glass is all present and unbroken. There are two extra doors and other parts.

This was a running driving car prior to being parked.  This would make a killer retro gasser as Corvairs by design were a very strong unibody platform. Put a tubing frame under, add a nasty small block engine up front, a 4 speed and narrowed Ford 9" and go racing or show up at the next cruise night with a dynamite street sweeper. Sell all the unneeded parts to a Corvair nut and help pay for the project. You could probably build a complete retro gasser out of this for the price (overpriced) of just a ratty incomplete '55 Chev 2 door body that doesn't have a title anyway!

Admit it, when was the last time you even saw a Corvair....much less a potential rat / rod gasser.  We DO have the title in our name so you will have no registration problems unlike sellers that offer only a bill of sale.  All four tires are up and it rolls freely.  Bring a trailer, it may take a little work to get her out from behind the fence.
