Provides professional nursing care; assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements the care provided to all patients. The RN is expected, but not may not be limited to, the following duties: review patient’s symptoms, medicine/allergy review, conduct patient assessments, coordinate with laboratory/radiology/respiratory or other departments/facilities regarding orders written by the physician, assist physicians with various procedures as necessary. The RN will exhibit a positive attitude, teamwork, and have knowledge of medical terminology.  The RN will work with various physicians of different specialties, will have on the job training, and pass competencies in assigned areas.  Cross training to Goodland Family Health Center expected. Assumes any responsibilities delegated by the Specialty Clinic Nursing Supervisor.

Minimum Education:    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree prepared nurse from accredited nursing school. 

Minimum Experience:  One year experience in acute care, preferred.  New graduate and on-the-job training will be considered.

Certification or Registration if required:  Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Kansas.  Basic Life Support required, with available on-site course.
