Quilt historian Chris Campbell will share her collection of 35 to 40 vintage quilts, which range from pre-Civil War through the 1970s. Each of these quilts features unique characteristics, and Ms. Campbell will tell the stories of the quilters who created them and discuss the materials and historical context that shaped their function and design.

Ms. Campbell is a quilter, as well as a historian, collector and owner of Chris' Corner Quilt Shop in Ottawa, KS.

This program is sponsored by the Big Creek Quilt Guild in Hays and the Hays Public Library, with additional support from the Ellis County Historical Society, the Hays Arts Council and the Midwest Energy Community Fund.
