Position: Retail Associate / Online Sales

Type: Part Time Position

Salary/Pay: Based On Experience

Hours: Expect 25 to 30 Hours Per Week

General Summary:

Our retail associates are responsible for the daily sales activities within the store. This is a customer facing position, so previous customer service experience is necessary. Retail associates all work with customer to take interest payments and redeem pawned items.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Keep accurate records of inventory, pawns, and interest payments

·         Day to day sales operations of the store

·         Packing and shipping items sold online

·         Listing items on eBay, Facebook, and Classified services daily

·         Assisting store manager with purchasing

·         Assisting store manager with pawning

Qualifications and Experience:

·         Minimum of 2 years’ experience, or equivalent education, in customer service

·         Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales related position

·         Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel

·         Experience listing and selling items on eBay

·         Working knowledge of Facebook

·         Experience with operating firearms

·         Must be over 21 years old

·         Must be able to pass a background check

·         Experience with electronics and music equipment is a plus

·         Experience with hand and power tools

·         Desire to continually learn and grow

·         Strong interpersonal skills

·         Ability to listen and explain terms to customers

·         Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously

·         Excellent listing and communication skills, both verbal and written

·         Strong customer relationship skills

·         Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated

·         Ability to provide and maintain detailed documentation

·         Willingness to develop professionally

·         Problem solving abilities and ability to meet reasonable deadlines

Working Conditions / Requirements:

·         Professional retail environment

·         Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs. on a regular basis

·         Must have reliable vehicle for work

·         Must have reliable cell phone and service
