The City of Ellis is accepting applications for the position of a Temporary Recycle Center Maintenance Worker with the Ellis Public Works Department.  Primary duties include sorting and preparing recyclable items at the recycle center, and other duties as assigned.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred.  The successful applicant must be able to lift and carry heavy load and operate department equipment.  The applicant should also possess a thorough knowledge of mechanics, equipment maintance, and a working knowledge of mathematics.  Drug/alcohol testing required after provisional offer of employment.
