For sale: Willys Jeep CJ2A project consisiting of a 1947 2A sitting on it's original frame with partial running gear. The axles are intact and the vehicle will easily roll onto a trailer. An additional 1946 Willys 2a tub is included. The '46 has no running gear included but does have the drivers side indent panels for the "Pioneer tools" (axe and shovel). Willys was using up WWII surplus military sheet metal (MB series) after the war and the early '46s have the indents.

The flathead four engine is not complete and appears to be locked up. The condition of the transmission and transfer case is unknown as neither will shift in or out of a gear. 

A current title has been obtained for the 1947 and it matches the numbers on both the firewall and the left front frame rail. No paperwork is availible for the '46 body other than a bill of sale. A set of four spoke wheels with wide tires (worn) are included with the Jeep but due to broken wheel studs on the right rear, only the three are currently installed. There is no windshield frame for this Jeep. 

Both bodies are rusted in the usual places due to Willys design flaws. This is not a project for the faint of heart but with the two combined, a nice Jeep could be constructed. Plans have changed and this project has to go. Every part imaginable is now availible aftermarket for these little 4X4 hot rods. One of the original civilian 4 Wheel Drive vehicles!
