Barton County is accepting applications for an Intensive Supervision Officer I for Central Kansas Community Corrections until the position is filled.  The person in this position is responsible for supervision of offenders assigned to CKCC by courts.  He or she completes risk / needs assessments, develops supervision plans, maintains case files, crisis interventions, investigations, testifies in court, affidavit and report writing, monitors compliance with court and program orders.  Requirements include a Bachelors degree in behavioral science, social science, criminal justice or related field.  Preference to corrections/criminal justice or related experience.  Applicants must pass a background check, drug screen and possess a valid Kansas driver’s license.  Application and job description available from the Barton County Human Resources Office, 1400 Main, Room 107, Great Bend, Kansas, 67530.   (620) 793-1800.  EOE.  Reasonable accommodations available.
