The foreman position is required to execute the jobs as required by the customers by organizing the crew/labor hands for each task, and keeo paperwork accurately for billing purposes. The foreman is also required to do any operation of equipment or do any labor required to fully perform the task at hand.

Equipment Operator job tasks that Foreman must be willing to perform including manning equipment in an effective and safe way. You must be able to get on and off large equipment safely and efficiently.

Laborer job tasks that Foreman must be willing to perform include but are not limited to: Operate hand/power tools, clean & prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces, clean up debris, load & unload construction equipment/materials, direct traffic, etc.

Foreman must be physically fit, hardworking, and able to follow instructions quickly and efficiently. They quickly learn to pay attention to what they are doing, follow safety precautions, and become handy with many kinds of tools. They may work on different crews doing various jobs, so having skills in a number of areas, as well as being able to get along with people, is important.

Must have a valid Kansas Commercial Driver’s License.
