Western Kansas Precision Ag Specialist

LDI is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Precision Ag Specialist to join our team to cover our Western Kansas territory!

Job Description: 

A successful candidate will be highly motivated, competitive, and energetic.  This person will represent the company for the sale, training, and customer service of aftermarket and OEM systems. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Precision Ag Department Manager, this position:

• Will provide unmatched technical customer support for our Precision Equipment Products
• Will deliver value added technical assistance for all aspects of selling to Precision Equipment prospects and customers
•  Will be able to install Precision Equipment and products
• Will be able to train internal staff on sales and support of Precision Equipment and products
• Will be able to train customers and owner/operators on Precision Equipment and products
• Will be able to provide support to customers and   owner/operators on Precision Equipment and products
• Represent LDI at various trade shows and customer events throughout the year across the state
• Other miscellaneous duties as requested by senior management

Job Skills:

The Precision Ag Specialist must:

• Have extensive knowledge of agricultural equipment and precision ag technology
• Excellent customer relation skills and organization skills
• Be computer literate and possess the ability to learn and utilize software such as CDK Global Business System
• Be able to work flexible hours and have a clean driving record.  Extensive travel will be required during peak seasons

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required/Prefer college BS or VoTech degree
• Minimum 1-2 years progressive experience in farm equipment and precision technology required
• Valid Driver’s License
•  Pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle check, and background check required.
