This is a 1983 square body with a 5.0l. In very good shape for the year. Has rust, the worst of which is on the passenger door. The rest is small spots behind the rear tires. When I bought it it did not run. I’m a mechanic. The problem was a broken wire in the distributor but I went ahead and replaced the whole thing. It has had an ignition tune up and oil service, new belts, looked over the front end and it’s all tight, checked all diff fluids, transfer case fluid, tranny fluid, all is good. 4x4 works excellent with automatic front hubs. Excellent all terrain BF tires plus a spare on an original ralley rim. Gun rack mounted to the ceiling inside. Runs and drives. Motor smokes, needs a ps pump, needs carb cleaned because acceleration is lacking, needs shocks it gets a little bouncy. And a rear pinion seal ($20). 

Now heres the kicker. With this truck I have a second truck for free. It’s a 1979 k20 that was being used for parts. It has a recently rebuilt 350 and a good set of 3/4 ton axles (don’t know the ratio). It’s all time 4x4 transfercase. The reason it became a parts truck is the tranny went out.
