We have three grass fed, grass finished beef for sale this year to be processed at Smoky Hill Meat Processing in Victoria.  They are antibiotic free, and all three have had NO added growth hormones.  They will be excellent beef as they have spent the summer in probably our best pasture.  We have been doing this for roughly ten years, and as always, in our small, but growing family operation in the Blue Hills of North Central Kansas, we endeavor to try and raise them to organic, all-natural standards, as God intended with the natural resources that we have.  They have never been supplemented with grain, nor have they been fed anything GMO.  We are not certified organic though.

These steers are 28-30 months of age.  For us, this has proven to be the prime age to have them processed.  Also, fall has proven to be the best time of the year as they are finished out on cool season grass.  They are raised and processed in a low stress environment.

The price this year will be $3.40/pound hanging weight which will be paid to us plus tax.  Processing will be paid to Smoky Hill Meat Processing.  We sell as a whole, half, or quarter (The quarter is a mix from the whole side of beef.  In other words, I do not sell a front quarter, nor a hind quarter, as they differ in quality and cuts.  This is fairer to you, the end consumer!)
