KDOT is currently hiring an Equipment Operator Trainee in St. Francis. Pay begins at $12.66 per hour. Duties include highway maintenance and repairs, snow and ice removal, mowing, weed eating and flagging. On-the-job training provided to obtain a CDL within 60 days. This position is subject to pre-employment testing and requires a valid unrestricted driver’s license. Benefits include health, vision and dental insurance, KPERS retirement, paid vacation and sick leave, and an annual personal protection equipment allowance.
