Barton County is accepting applications for a Family Engagement Advocate for Juvenile Services until the position filled.  The person in this position will utilize a parenting curriculum to build constructive relationships and support networks among parents/ guardians of juvenile offenders with emotional or behavioral disability.  Community based, culturally relevant, family centered.  Counsels for behavior modifications, rehabilitation, social adjustments, financial assistance, vocational training, childcare, or medical care.  Serves as a liaison between student, home school, state agencies, family service agencies, child guidance clinics, courts, and clergy as required.  Requires a four-year college degree with preference given to criminal justice, psychology, social work, sociology or other related health and human services fields. Valid KS driver's license.
