Starting Pay: $10.50/hour

Position Summary:  Transport inpatients from their hospital rooms into the Imaging Center for imaging examinations and procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Collects relevant information regarding patient identification and status
• Identifies self to patient and obtains patients' consent to transport for imaging procedure
• Documents all required components of transporting patient
• Transports patients for imaging procedure
• Analyzes information to safely and accurately transport patient according to established policies, protocols and guidelines for patient safety.

Education/Experience: High school graduate or equivalence preferred; experience in working with patients preferred; ability to ambulate or transport patients required; experience in advocating for resources, promote efficient, effective, safe and compassionate care based on current standards of practice.

Certificates and Licenses: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred; BLS certification required or must complete BLS certification with in the first two weeks of employment;
