This is an original World War 2 knife that belonged to my uncle.  It is a USN MK2 fighting knife made in Camillus, NY.  It is in excellent condition in my opinion with only very minor signs of any corrosion.  My uncle intended to use it for deer and elk hunting, so it has been sharpened, but I don't believe he ever used it to dress an animal.  The blade is sound with no chips or gouges in the sides or edge. The web belt holder and strap are in excellent condition and clean.  The fiberglass scabbard is in great shape without scratches or other marks, but does have small cracks at the base and around the hole for the leg strap.
