10 year plus established growing company in the repair industry is looking for the services of a motivated ag tech to work as part of their team in Beloit, KS. There are no middle management & no employee seminar gimmicks. Honest pay for honest work & family-like communication to build a satisfying career for a talented mechanic. Our business works closely with each customer to put together a comprehensive plan for the maintenance of their equipment; mainly John Deere combines, all brands of tractors, combination truck/trailers, & heavy equip. Work is performed in-shop & on location in-field.

Skills, Tools, & Experience Required
Your ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, & make repairs in a safe, timely, & responsible manner in this demanding market will be an asset. Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, & hydraulic systems paired with a strong attention to detail and follow through are essential. We prefer minimum 3years experience however a mechanically inclined, team player with a neat appearance & intrepid work ethic do apply.
With a breakdown of 75% technical work and 25% maintaining of the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, equipment & workspace environment, you will utilize your strong project management and organizational skills. 
Your role as a competent head mechanic requires accounting for all time & materials used on a project in order to facilitate billing & includes the input of technical and detailed orders for the completion of each job. A variety of projects & applications will keep you challenged and busy. Conditions are often rugged requiring toughness & considerable strength.
As head mechanic you must own tools of the trade & realize harvest seasons to be longer hours than most of the year. You can expect regular holidays paid, employee discounts, company logo shirts and work boots provided; benefits after a year of successful employment. We are offering a hiring bonus and help relocating. Wages are hourly.
