Colby Community College is accepting applications for a full-time Math Instructor. This is a nine-month position to begin in August 2019. This position requires a willingness to work with high school students, travel, and teach in varying formats, i.e. online, Zoom, face-to-face. Candidate should establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, administrators, and faculty. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will assess student learning and application of course objectives and competencies, along with designing, developing, and maintaining course curriculum. Participation in various professional activities, such as actively serving on committees, recruiting and advising students is expected.  Must understand the importance of technology, integrity, innovative thinking, and the ability to work as a team to increase enrollment in a rural setting.  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in mathematics or a master's in a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in mathematics.
• Postsecondary teaching experience preferred.
• High school credential in Kansas preferred

SALARY

Mid-30s to Mid-40s, depending on credentials.
