The top is a black matte powder coated finish that can withstand 500 pounds of weight on the top. The top uses a sealed ball bearing slide rail system that never needs lubrication. The top locks into postion at any point along the rails so you can lock or secure items into place. Two keys are included for the lock. The top can not be compromised short of a sledge hammer.

The top has the wide rails so it will fully cover your vehicles stake pockets. Fits a 5" 8" truck bed. It is super easy to install and there is no drilling into your truck to attach.
