The Mac Mini is a desktop computer. It requires a monitor, power, mouse, and keyboard. The connection on the Mini is HDMI, but you can buy an adapter to connect other types of monitors.

The iMac is an all in one computer - plug in mouse, keyboard, power and you are set to go.

Mac Mini - i5 2.3 GHz. Some with 2, 4, or 8 GB of RAM, 500 GB HD

iMac - i3 3.3 GHz. 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HD

iMac - $350 each
