RANS Designs, Inc. is looking for a Full-Time Parts Production worker to assist in the manufacturing of small parts and assemblies. Considered a pioneer in the homebuilt aircraft industry, RANS has been manufacturing and selling kit and ready-to-fly planes for over 35 years!

The ideal candidate will have experience working with production equipment, good communication skills, and some degree of mechanical aptitude. As a production worker, you must be able to read and interpret CAD drawings and other related technical prints. Experience with CNC machine operations is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Working with raw manufacturing materials
• Monitoring the production process to ensure proper  production of parts
• Check finished production parts to ensure highest quality
• Report on issues, fitment, or defective parts in a timely manner to production manager
• Build and/or modify assemblies according to engineering specifications
• Maintain equipment in good working condition
• Ensure work area is clean and hazard free
• Assist other related departments (as needed)

Qualifications

• Ability to work with industrial equipment, i.e. hydraulic press, metal break, drill press, etc.
• Experience with entry-level CNC machine operations (optional)
• Basic knowledge of machine shop practices
• Capable of standing, or working on your feet, for long periods of time
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
• Good communication skills (verbal/written)
• High school diploma or experience working in a similar field

Compensation is commensurate with experience

Only Full-Time applicants will be considered, and training will be available for the right candidate.
