For sale is my 1979 Ford. It’s a 2wd with a 400 v8 and an automatic odometer reads 66k. Entire truck has just been repainted as well as getting a new battery and starter. Fresh oil change and previous owner said the trans fluid had been flushed just before I bought it from him. Tires are next to brand new. Have a receipt with an odometer reading of when they were put on and it’s about 1000 miles ago. Body is in decent shape. There are dents and there is rust in the cab corners as most of these trucks do. Someone attempted a fiberglass fix and when I repainted the truck I tried to clean it up a bit but it’s not near perfect. The interior is almost flawless for a truck this age. Someone replaced the carpet recently as well as putting a new bench seat in. Bench seat is almost perfect other then a small rip under where the driver sits. Which I covered with tape to prevent a further tear. Little wear has been put on the seat, Just the small tear. Radio doesn’t work well. I suspect it just needs a new head unit and it would be fine. Does have an exhaust tick that is fairly annoying. But I can’t find where it’s coming from or I would attempt to fix it. Also just put a new temp sensor in to fix the gauge on the dash as well as new gas tank float, just put a new fuel pump in as well. Has dual tanks. Makes extremely good oil pressure. With it staying just above middle at idle and over that driving. Previous owner was an older gentleman who just drove it to and from the fields. $2200 OBO.
