US Army Corps of Engineers are advertising for multiple leases for the 2020-2024 seasons.  Leases will be awarded through a bid process.  Please contact Zach Hlad, at 816-519-5147 for more information regarding the lease and bid process.

Lucas Hay Lease - 5 year hay lease located at Lucas Park on the north side of the lake approximately 8 miles south of Lucas, KS.  Hay lease consists of  274.8 acres (years 2020, 2022, 2024) and 256.6 acres (years 2021, 2023) of mixed grass.  Haying is allowed between 1 July and 31 July each year. 

Sawhill Hay Lease - 5 year hay lease located off of 199th Rd on the north side of the lake.  Hay lease consists of 32 acres (years 2020, 2022, 2024) and 37 acres (years 2021, 2023) of mixed grass.  Haying is allowed between 1 July and 31 July each year. 

Admin Grazing Lease - 5 year grazing lease located at the intersection of Highways 232 and 181.  Grazing lease consists of  133.5 acres.  Lessee will be allowed 1 animal unit per 11 acres.  No more than 12.1 animal units will be allowed.  Grazing season lasts from May 1—September 30.  A solar-powered well and tire tank watering system are onsite.
