1983 GMC High Sierra 1500 4x4. 305 motor with a Carter 4 barrel. Motor runs just fine, starts a little hard, vacuum leak, needs your typical tune up parts. Transmission is a Turbo 350. Truck runs and drives sorta. The ring gear is out of the rear end and that is why it is parked. 3.73 gears, ring set and all associated parts come with the truck. Everything is there to make it a driving truck again. It can still be moved around, it is just a front wheel drive right now. 4 wheel drive does work. The A/C still works, factory charged, never been changed over. The clutch on the A/C compressor is starting to stick though. As you can see from the pictures, it has plenty of weight reduction. The rear fenders, typical cab corners, and does have some small rust holes on the floor. The tires are newer. At one point the truck had a draw bar on it and was pulled behind an implement. Overall the truck is in savable shape. I am not going to get around to saving it, so someone needs too. The truck has 53,936 miles on it. From what I can tell those probably arent all the miles, I am sure the odometer has rolled over so probably more like 150,000 miles but they could be original. It comes with a cab, clip, and front doors. One cab corner has some small rust holes, one fender has some rust that needs repaired. It has better rockers and floors.
