The album peaked at No. 12 in March 1980 with the single “Heartbreaker” reaching top 20 in the United States, Canada and New Zealand.  "We Live for Love", which became Benatar's first top-10 entry in any country when it rose to No. 8 in Canada, while also reaching the top 30 in the US, New Zealand and Australia. On Billboard magazine's 1980 year-end top pop albums chart, In the Heat of the Night was listed at No. 7. The album also reached No. 3 in Canada, No. 8 in New Zealand, and No. 25 in Australia.

Crimes of Passion is Benatar's best-selling album, having been certified four-times Platinum (for shipments in excess of over four million copies) in the United States and five-times Platinum (for shipments of 500,000 copies) in Canada.

The actual record is in very good condition. The album cover does show some slight wear.  The advantage of buying records “locally” here in Hays, KS (as opposed to buying a used record through Ebay), is you can visually inspect the record before you buy it and we will play it on my turntable so you can hear that it has no scratches or dings on the album.  It sounds great yet!  Plus you will not have to pay any shipping fees or deal with possible shipping damage of the record through UPS.
