Role:
To assist customers with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
· Receives and processes customer financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; transfers amounts from customer accounts as directed. Posts transactions to customer accounts and maintain customer records.
· Welcomes customers and provides routine information concerning services and directs customers to appropriate department for specific information and service.
· Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
· Cross-sells bank products and services.
· Complies with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
· Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
· Completes other duties as assigned.
Education:
· A high school education or GED
Preferred Skills:
· Cash handling experience preferred
· Customer service experience
· Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
