We are a National Chartered Org. like the VFW, or American Legion except we are all Active or Former Marines, and Navy Corpsmen.  We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month  September  through June at the VFW in Smith Center, Ks 1900.  We wear Dress Blue trousers, white pilot shirts with Marine Corps League emblems on our collars for Ceremonies, Funerals, Parades and such.  Meetings uniforms are casual.  Our Mt Suribachi Det is the oldest in the State.  We raise monies for Wounded Warriors, American Legion Riders, and others.  We hold Bingo at the VA in GI Nebr once a year. Our Mt Syribachi Det 105 is the oldest Detachment in the State. Chartered in 1954. Many of our Marines are WWII , Korea, Vietnam, and a few Iraq, Veterans. We need younger Marines to keep this Marine organization going and serving our communities or we will sadly lose our Charter in a few years. Step up Marines.
