Description

This 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon is one of 4,190 Launch Edition examples produced for the model year. The “419” reference refers to the area code of Toledo, Ohio, the home of Gladiator and Wrangler production, and the number is embossed on the bedliner. All were based on a heavily optioned Rubicon with LED head and taillights, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, a nine-speaker Alpine premium sound system, keyless entry, Forward Facing TrailCam camera, blind-spot monitoring, Rear Cross Path detection, ParkSense rear park assist system, Advanced Brake Assist, Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop, Trail Rail Cargo Management System, spray-in bedliner, and they Trailer Tow Package. Special treatments consisted of an exclusive forged-aluminum tailgate badge, fender extensions, and 17-inch Mid-Gloss Black aluminum wheels wearing 33-inch Falken Wildpeak All-Terrain tires as well as a wrapped instrument panel in Monaco Silver and black leather seats with red accent stitching. The truck is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, a two-speed transfer case, and locking differentials. Purchased new by the current owner, this Gladiator has 35 miles. Comes with an owner’s manual, a window sticker, two key fobs, a clean Carfax report, and a Florida title.

The four-door pickup is finished in black and features a matching three-piece removable Freedom Top hardtop along with a vented hood, LED headlights, a receiver hitch, rock sliders, and a steel front bumper. Additional equipment includes hood catches, auxiliary lights, a receiver hitch, a spray-in bedliner, a bed tonneau cover, and body-color fender flares.

Black-finished 17″ aluminum wheels are mounted with 285/70 Falken Wildpeak A/T tires, and a full-size spare is stowed beneath the bed. The truck is equipped with FOX 2.0 shocks and terrain-specific off-road Plus mode.

The cabin houses heated front seats trimmed in black leather with contrasting red stitching and “Rubicon” embroidered on the backrests. Amenities include an Alpine premium audio system, rear ParkSense, a forward-facing TrailCam, adaptive cruise control with collision warning, and an 8.4″ display with Uconnect and navigation.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a digital display flanked by a tachometer and a 120-mph speedometer. The odometer indicates 35 miles.

The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 features variable valve timing and was factory rated at 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.

Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, a Rock-Trac dual-range transfer case, and Dana axles with Tru-Lok front and rear locking differentials. The truck came factory-equipped with skid plates protecting the transfer case and fuel tank as well as the front end.
